Your journal becomes a place for all of it—the stories you write, the memories you want to keep, the photographs you love, and the creative pages you make along the way.
Some days you may write. Other days you may paint, layer paper, add a photograph, make a list, or save one ordinary detail. Papers can be trimmed, decorated, and attached directly to a journal or composition-book page.
It does not have to look like anyone else’s book. It simply becomes one special place to collect the pieces of your life.

Welcome to June Bug & Honey Bees!
After many years as a junior high language arts teacher, I have branched out to bring my love of writing and creating to others outside the classroom.
Here, I encourage you to find your voice. Don’t let the fear of not knowing how or what to write (or how to draw or create something beautiful) stop you from showing your story.
You do not need a grand idea, a talent for art, or a plan in place. Just begin.
Everyone has something, someone, or someplace worth remembering. Who knows? Your story may be the one thing someone special looks back on one day and discovers a whole new side of you—or simply knows that you were here and you mattered.
I’m here to help as little or as much as you need.
